Hi all:
I'm so pleased to see topics devoted to the use of the slate and stylus. It got me to thinking about other uses for the stylus than just writing. I'll start with a couple.
First, I once had a kitten who used to love batting it around. I had to be careful where I kept it, and it caused me to have several on hand.
Second, It can be helpful getting knots out of shoelaces.
I can think of others, but I'd like to see other thoughts.
Thanks, and happy jabbing.

I use mine to reset my pedometer... sounds like (per domiter)) . It has tiny little buttons that is hard to reset unless you have something really small to poke it with and my stylist works beautifully for this.
I also use it to reset my notetaker, same thing, it has a tiny little place to stick something in and this works pretty good to reset it, too.
I used to use it to reset my BrailleNote, and I alsostill use it to draw raised-line pictures.
you those zip tie things that claim to be impossible to un do other than cutting them, NOPE! If you have something like a stilus you can un zip them and put them back zupped.
Used it for the reset thing, also for opening plastic bags that are sealed and are being stubborn (ones that I don't want to keep, obviously.)
I've also used it for hard to reach buttons or switches.

Punching holes in leather, hole punch for paper if you are lazy, and well anything sharp like that has many uses. You can use it on wood as a screw starter, and... *sigh.
Thanks for reminding me about the screw starter trick. I'd forgotten that one.
